Rawhide is currently accepting vehicle donations in the Green Bay area. They offer free pick-up within 24 to 48 hours of your inquiry. Do you have a non-working vehicle? They can be working, non-working, clunkers, or damaged, and Rawhide will still accept your donation. Rawhide is a 501©(3) non-profit, faith based organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth. They currently host an adventure camp, in which teens receive mentoring and leadership skills. They also run an alternative high school and provide out-patient counseling services for at-risk youth and their families. Green Bay Vehicle Donations First Steps

Please visit the website Donate a Vehicle Green Bay in order to get started. Fill out the form in its entirety, specifying the make and model of the vehicle and the type of condition it is in. Rawhide will contact you after you submit the donation form.

Once you have received a call from Rawhide about your Green Bay vehicle donation and have worked out the place and time of your free pick-up, you can start getting your vehicle ready. It’s not necessary to wash the vehicle but this would be a nice gesture. Be sure to remove all personal articles and trash from the vehicle. Cancel the insurance and registration and remove your license plates. Make a note of the mileage and the condition of the vehicle for your own records.

After Rawhide obtains your vehicle it will be sent directly to auction. The amount of your tax receipt will be dependent on this auction. You can rest assured that you vehicle will be sold for a fair price: on average, Rawhide’s cars for auction net more money than other charities. Once the car has been sold at auction, Rawhide will send you a tax receipt that you can use to claim a deduction on your taxes.
